Mattress with DualCore interconnected spring technology, natural-fibre padding and an optional topper for extra comfort. NOVA is the Sleep CARE line mattress that interprets comfort through selected materials and particular attention to the environment. The CARE stretch fabric, in polyester microfibres obtained by recycling plastic bottles collected from the sea, is enhanced with the Fiberbugs treatment with essential oils to protect the mattress from mites and bed bugs. The technical profile is completed by CATAS and IMO 0407 certifications and the Class 1IM fire resistance certification issued by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and reliability.

CATAS TEST REPORT 415925

Dorelan mattresses are tested by CATAS in accordance with EN 1957:2012 for product durability and loss of vertical edge height, and EN 1334:1996 for the determination of dimensions and tolerances of beds and mattresses. These test protocols simulate intensive-use conditions and allow product performance to be assessed objectively.

IMO/MED certified in accordance with Directive 2014/90/EU

B&T S.p.A. mattresses and pillows intended for the marine sector are designed, manufactured and certified for passive fire protection in accordance with the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), in compliance with SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) and Directive 2014/90/EU (MED) for the European market and USCG requirements for the US market. Compliant products may bear the “Wheel Mark” conformity marking. IMO-certified mattresses and pillows are available upon request, subject to approval by the Dorelan Technical Department.

Class 1IM fire resistance, approved by the Italian Ministry of the Interior

Products intended for hospitality establishments that fall within the scope of Italian Ministerial Decree 26 June 1984 concerning the “Classification of reaction to fire and approval for fire prevention purposes” are certified by laboratories authorised by the Italian Ministry of the Interior as Reaction to Fire Class 1 or Class 1IM, depending on the type of product and its composition. Reaction-to-fire certificates define the degree to which the tested product contributes to a fire, in accordance with the UNI 9175 and UNI 9175/FA1 test methods. Products obtain official approval issued by the Italian Ministry of the Interior – Department of Fire Brigades, Public Rescue and Civil Defence, Central Directorate for Fire Prevention and Technical Safety, Area V Passive Protection, Reaction to Fire Approvals Section – following an application submitted by B&T S.p.A.

Can two single mattresses be joined to make a double mattress?

Yes. On several Dorelan Hotel Sleep Systems, the Pillow Topper, combined with the TopFit system and joining zips, makes it possible to transform two single beds into a continuous, stable and comfortable double surface. The system has been designed to allow staff to reconfigure the room in less than a minute.

Are Dorelan Hotel mattresses Class 1IM certified?

Yes. Dorelan Hotel offers mattresses and upholstered products for the hospitality sector that are Class 1IM certified, in compliance with the applicable reaction-to-fire requirements. Certification documentation is available for the products concerned.

What does Class 1IM mean for a hotel mattress?

Class 1IM identifies a specific reaction-to-fire class for upholstered furniture. For products within its scope, tests are carried out by authorised laboratories and approval is granted in accordance with current regulations.

How long does a hotel mattress last?

The lifespan of a hotel mattress depends on the model, the intensity of use, the environmental conditions and proper maintenance. To objectively assess the product’s ability to maintain its performance in professional use, Dorelan mattresses undergo CATAS testing in accordance with the UNI EN 1957 standard.

How is mattress rotation managed in the room?

The models have side handles so they can be rotated and flipped at every change of season.
