Do mattress protectors protect against bed bugs?
Not all mattress protectors have a specific function against bed bugs. For dedicated protection, our Bugs Out mattress protector, a full zippered encasement with a safety system, creates a physical barrier against bed bugs, dust mites and bacteria. Yes, some Dorelan Hotel pillow protectors offer specific protection against dust mites and bacteria, depending on the model. The Bugs Out cover, with zip closure, creates a physical barrier against bed bugs, dust mites and bacteria and is washable up to 60 °C. The range also includes covers with specific treatments: Mite uses the Fiberbugs treatment, effective against dust mites and bed bugs, while Innova uses HealthGuard® technology, an antimicrobial treatment that helps combat bacteria, mould and dust mites.
